Enjoy a scenic navigation to the beautiful island of Lipari, where you'll spend a delightful night on board at the marina. Take in the serene and calm surroundings, allowing the gentle sounds of the waves to lull you into relaxation as you prepare for the adventures to come.
Lipari was once a major exporter of obsidian, a volcanic glass used for tools and weapons in prehistoric times. Thousands of years ago, its shiny black shards were so prized that they were traded across the entire Mediterranean. Archaeologists have found Lipari obsidian as far away as Egypt and the Balkans!
Enjoy a delightful navigation to Panarea, where you'll embark on a scenic tour of the breathtaking islands that comprise this stunning archipelago.
Panarea is the smallest of the Aeolian islands, celebrated for its unique hydrothermal vent, which creates an extraordinary natural spectacle. As you explore the charming landscapes and crystal-clear waters, you'll be captivated by the island's serene beauty and vibrant culture.
After a day filled with adventure and exploration, unwind and relax as you spend the night on board by the marina, allowing the gentle sounds of the sea to lull you to sleep under the stars.
Navigation to Stromboli is an exciting journey that leads you to one of the most active volcanos in Europe; the stunning black beaches are its distinctive trait, offering a unique contrast to the vibrant blue sea.
After exploring this breathtaking destination, you will sail to Salina: enjoy a pleasant navigation with the usual thermal wind for approximately 22 nautical miles, taking in the beautiful coastal views along the way, before mooring at the marina, where you can relax and unwind.
Stromboli is home to one of the world’s most active volcanoes, and it’s been erupting almost continuously for over 2,000 years. Locals call it the “Lighthouse of the Mediterranean” because its glowing eruptions have guided sailors at night for centuries.
Discovering Salina: most of its territory belongs to a Nature Reserve that was created to safeguard the island’s stunning landscapes and unique ecosystems.
This reserve features a variety of different hiking trails that cater to both beginners and experienced hikers, allowing you to immerse yourself in the island's natural beauty. Salina is also home to several beautiful beaches, with Rinella being the only sandy one, perfect for sunbathing and relaxation.
To top off your experience, indulge in delightful food and wine tasting at a local wine estate, where you can savor the rich flavors and aromas of the region’s finest offerings.
Salina, on the other hand, is known as the “greenest” of the Aeolian Islands. It’s famous for its capers and Malvasia wine, both of which thrive thanks to the island’s fertile volcanic soil. In fact, Salina produces some of the best capers in the world!
Navigation to the enchanting island of Filicudi begins. Here, the sea is crystal clear and inviting, providing a perfect opportunity to admire the stunning underwater world.
As you explore, you will be captivated by the beautiful seabed, characterised by its dramatic cliffs and vibrant marine life.
Afterward, we will plan a visit to the nearby island of Alicudi, depending on the ever-changing weather conditions that may arise.
On Filicudi, there’s a sea stack called La Canna, rising 70 meters from the sea. Legend says if you touch it while making a wish, it might just come true. Locals treat it like a natural wishing stone!
Enjoy a scenic navigation to the beautiful island of Lipari, where you'll have the opportunity to explore the charming city.
Stroll through its picturesque streets, visit local shops, and savor delicious Sicilian cuisine.
After a delightful day of discovery, you'll spend the night on board, anchored by the tranquil marina of Vulcano, surrounded by stunning views and the calming sounds of the sea.
Vulcano island was formed by the merging of several volcanos, creating a unique landscape that is both beautiful and intriguing.
The volcanic activity has not completely ceased, and visitors can frequently witness jets of steam rising from different places on the island, a reminder of its fiery past. Vulcano is also known for its sulphurous muds, which are rich in therapeutic properties, attracting those seeking natural wellness treatments. After a day of exploration and relaxation, you will come back to Marina di Portorosa, where the tranquil atmosphere enhances your experience.
Night will be spent at anchor, offering a peaceful setting under the stars, making it a truly memorable end to your day.
The word “volcano” in English (and many other languages) actually comes from Vulcano Island itself! The ancient Romans believed the island was the chimney of Vulcan, their god of fire and blacksmithing. They thought the smoke and steam rising from the crater were signs of him forging weapons for the gods.
